The couple wanted a brutalist home that would perfectly fit their busy yet family oriented lifestyle.

The house sits on a corner lot with a gentle slope going down from the sidewalk that became an advantage for the minimal excavation of the basement floor.

Though the facade looks closed off from the outside, the interior of this residence is actually filled with natural light. Windows were strategically placed to receive light in areas where they are needed. The split level arrangement of the rooms helped create a large, high-ceiling spaces which added a spacious feel inside.
